Reaction?

I had originally called my show The Fusion Reactor...

Well no, I think it started out as "the fusion show." Then a listener gave me the idea for the name.

Now apparently it has changed again, this time to The Fusion Reaction.

It does kinda sound neat, but it also kinda has that connotation like it's something you might be allergic to, and I'd like to avoid that if possible.

If you're listening to fusion and you experience a reaction, apply Godspeed You Black Emperor and Dream Theater simultaneously until the swelling goes down.

Don't know about Medeski but Martin make great guitars and Wood is good for burning.:cool:

I really enjoy some of John Medeski's keyboard work, particularly the earlier hammond stuff. Billy Martin is an inventive (if not innovative) drummer. Chris Wood... Well he plays the bass quite well, doesn't he? I haven't seen them since 2002 so things might have changed, but they used to be quite a formidable live act. I heard one show with Charlie Hunter sitting in on guitar and it was simply AMAZING.

That said, I stopped getting into their music somewhere around Tonic. I kept trying to like them, but it seems that their newer (drug influenced?) directions don't move me quite like their older stuff, particularly It's A Jungle In Here, Shack-Man, and the wonderful A Go-Go (where they are John Scofield's backing band).

They are excellent lawyers. I rate them up there with "Cheatem, Fleecem, and Howe".

Got quite a fee MMW torrents going on right now. They really are terrific live.
