I'm leaving on an airplane to Peru when this show originally broadcasts on ProgPositivity. I should be there already but on a 12-hour bus ride when it replays on Friday. The AM broadcasts are a few days later, and I'll be in Peru for them as well, so it's very likely that I won't even hear this show during any of its broadcasts. This is ironic because it's basically a bunch of fusion that I haven't listened to in a while! I guess I won't be hearing them this time either! No real theme to speak of, just fusion.

Return To Forever - Medieval Overture
Metheny, Pat - Facing West
Hunter, Charlie - Return Of The Candyman
Schleigho - Continent
Passport - Sambukada
Davis, Miles - Zimbabwe, part 2
Skolnick, Alex - Highway Star
Fleck, Béla & the Flecktones - Zona Mona
Chick Corea Elektric Band - Alan Corday
Mahavishnu Orchestra - Be Happy
Bruford, Bill - Triplicity
Brand X - Why Should I Lend You Mine (When You've Broken Yours Off Already...)
Williams, Tony (Lifetime) - Lonesome Wells (Gwendy Trio)

It's quite possible that there will not be a new show for a couple of weeks, as I don't expect to return to the States until June 29th.

Wow! Never been south of Florida, sounds great...for the Scouts perhaps, or a Church function?

Two things in your honor...the Manzanera/Eno song "Big Day" from Diamond Head mentions Peru liberally, and the excellent band Flor De Loto is from Peru. I shall play both...but not tonight...tonight is Hiromi Uehara...speaking of fusion :yougo

Yeah I'm really excited to go. That would be a wild Scout function, wouldn't it? No, this is a mission trip - helping to build an orphanage and reaching out to the orphans and the community in Tingo Maria, Peru.

Thanks in advance for the songs you'll be playing.
