Time, for program 887, as we feature more new music from the Cuneiform catalog. We'll spotlight the new nine piece band Alec K. Redfearn and The Eyesores and their amazing new release titled The Quiet Room. We'll also feature Captain Beefheart tribute project named Fast n Bulbous and the disc titled Pork Chop Blue Around The Rind featuring Gary Lucas and Phillip Johnston, alumni of the Captain Beefheart's Magic Band. We'll feature the new archive retrospective on pre Yes project of Chris Squire, Peter Banks, and Steve Nardelli called The Syn. The new double CD set, titled Original Syn, includes interviews, early music from the pre Syn days in the band The Selfs, and other historic recordings that developed as the band became known as The Syn as well. We'll feature the new limited edition double CD set from British progressive rock band Arena titled Live And Life, and we will premier their new studio album titled Pepper's Ghost. We'll feature a new disc from the twang bar king Adrian Belew and his first of a 3 part release titled Side One. This is Adrian's first studio project in many years. We'll also spotlight John Abercrombie's latest offering with Marc Feldman, Marc Johnson, and Joey Baron titled Class Trip. As part of our 4th Hour Space Out we will feature 2 doozies. First up, Systems Theory and their Soundtracks For Imaginary Movies featuring artwork from Paul Whitehead, Cyndee Lee Ruhle from Spaceseed & Nik Turner's recent Philly tour and many others. We'll also feature local Space Rock project Science Friction and their latest offering titled Exploding Monsters. We'll feature music from German Fusion band Aera as part of our Taster's Choice segment, and music from the 2 rare Grotesk albums featuring Aera's Muck Groh on Guitar. We'll spotlight the Strawbs as they make their way to the Sellersville Theater in Sellersville, PA, and we will kick things off with 2 classics from The Mahavishnu Orchestra on the release date anniversaries.
