PM box full, but no messages!

I need help with a recurring problem. Many times I've gotten emails saying so-and-so tried to send me a private message but my inbox was full. I'm given a link to my PM boxes, and guess what? It's empty! I always delete them. I'm missing "important" messages because of some puter glitch. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to fix it? R.L? Vaxman?:confused:

PS, Rick, email me whatever you were trying to say about Django. I obviously didn't get your PM. Thanks.

Avian alerted me this afternoon to the fact that mail was not working.

I started it up and many backlogged messages were delivered. Let me know if you still have PM issues and I'll look into it.

I too received backlogged messages.

But Spaz has a problem with his private messaging, and it's different from that issue. It would be good to have that fixed.

Maybe you need to delete your user and log in as "Old Sod":p

Spaz, I just replied "yes send me anything you like". It's just I am severely backlogged with music and other things and will try my best to sample it asap. By the way, is it a video file? hope I can play it......


UPDATE: I just tried to send a message, same problem.

I'd suggest going into your backlog and cleaning some of that out. I bet you're running into some kind of quota issue.

I'll continue to investigate the issue.

I just checked, and as I suspected, there's nothing. I've got no backlog. I'm cleaned out.

OK, I'll look into it. I may have to log into your account to see what you're seeing on your end. I'll drop you a PM with some instructions/thoughts.

The thing is, I can send you PMs until I'm blue in the face with my admin account and there are no issues. But I try to send one via a non-admin account and it bounces like one of my ex-wife's checks.
