fremder said he looked into the error code at the bottom and to quote:

fremder as requoted by podakayne
My brief "research" into the error message at the bottom of the screen suggests the hard drive that holds the SQL db is full... I just hope it's not too serious.

and on that note my companies email goes wacko

must be the planet axis

Didn't Interzone finish a bit ... improperly today? I thought the whole Sweetnighter album was going to play.

Damn it. :) That Boogie Woogie thing didn't sound bad at all...

Now we can spend our time in the forums! Poor DR. DOT must be pulling his hair out!

I posted an Email to Dot... just in case he was unaware, and it failed to deliver because of "insufficient disk space" at the auralmoon.com site... As to WHY the disk has filled... that could be potentially ugly, or just an oversight...

The grapevine tells me VAX is out of town and hoping Dot is handling it, but I suspect he is unaware of the problem. Anyone got a phone number?

Obviously, Roger will surf in eventually, so I guess, as Avian suggests on one of the station spots, we'll have to "experience only half of what the Moon has to offer"

Dr. Dot was, in fact, not aware of the situation and is now taking steps to investigate, rectify, and handle.

I wasn't in fact aware that there was a problem, but it does, in fact, seem that the filesystem is indeed full.

Time to do some moves, links, and other Magick to ensure it doesn't happen again...once my script is done running to find the culprits and send them into low earth orbit (to keep Our Favorite Overrequester company, you see.)

Roger -Dot- Lee, courteous to the end.

This problem wouldn't have had anything to do with that. The music is kept on a different system in a different datacenter in a different timezone.

Can't answer for that.

Roger -Dot- Lee, getting closer and closer...

I've found out what the problem was, but in the future, Kev, a bit more of a descriptive posting would definitely help. Something like "It's doing this weird dance thing, and at the end it drops trou and prances about in its speedos" or something...

Roger -Dot- Lee, thank ya kindly

Usually I am a royal pain about informing people, but I was at a temp assignment and my computer usage is monitored. I couldn't get to email anyone until after the issue identified, etc.

Another rousing ovation for Dot!

Soon this venture I am a bit part of will take off. There is a good probability that we could have a backup system to assist with these types of issues. But that's down the line a bit.

Although I did not listen to the Moon yesterday, it appears as if the music was fine.

Also - check out our newest forum member...it appears we have some unwelcome clutter.

I noticed that myself and will be taking steps. I currently have things set up so spammers can't do anything once they DO get an account (they're looking for places to bounce spam). I'm in no real rush to fix them, though, unless there's something truly offensive about them.

Roger -Dot- Lee, like there's NOT anything offensive about spammers....

Yah, I saw it. I'll go through the list and make for some happy fun deleting action. They don't seem to do much more than set up accounts and then vamoose when they realize that signing up for an account does not confer upon them the ability to use the server as a spam gateway.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that the problem had to do with the filesys being full. I was just ... expressing a momentary distress over not being able to hear an album that started so promising. :) Never mind.

... and I just figured that this particular album is on the playlist here anyway, so indeed, never mind me...
