Join the GAGLIARCHIVES, Saturday night at 10pm Eastern
Time, for program 912, as we world premiere the new Echolyn CD titled
The End Is Beautiful. The new disc is due out on August 23rd prior to
their European tour in September. A special thanks to Ray Weston.
We'll spotlight the new remastered release of Barclay James Harvest's
fantastic first live album, recorded in June 1974. We'll feature the
new tribute to Miles Davis titled A Bitchin Brew featuring guitarists
Pat Martino, Bill Connors, Bill Frisell, Mike Stern, Eric Johnson and
many others from Tone Center Records. We'll feature music from
jazz/world music project Nima And Merge including their new disc
titled Separate Worlds. We'll feature the recent reissue of Pip
Pyle's Equip'Out and the second solo album titled Up. We'll feature
the latest tribute to Bass legend Jaco Pastorius and the disc titled
A Gospel For JFP III featuring Jaco's son Felix, Mike Stern, Bireli
Lagrene, and many others. We'll spotlight all of our #1 ranked discs
in our weekly top 20 in 2005 from January to the present. We'll
spotlight French band Magma and the KA album, Helmet Of Gnats and
their self titled release, Japanese project Machine And The
Synergetic Nuts and their new release titled Leap Second Neutral,
Allan Holdsworth's 2CD compilation titled Against The Clock as we
celebrate his birthday as well, the explosive disc from The Mars
Volta titled Francis The Mute, Van Der Graaf Generator and their 2
disc release titled Present, and our current #1 disc for the 9th
straight week in requests, 14 weeks total, Porcupine Tree's Deadwing.
We'll feature our top disc from this week in 2003 in Anekdoten and
the Gravity CD.
