Time, for program 913, as we premiere the remastered reissue from the Progquebec label and French-Canadian band Pollen and their self titled 1976 album. This release is regarded as one of the great album of progressive rock of the 1970's. Don't miss this feature. We'll also spotlight the French Jazz band L'Orchestre Sympathique and the 1979 live recording In Concert with the Great Master key. We'll also feature by multiple requests since our feature last week, the new Echolyn CD titled The End Is Beautiful. The new disc is due out on August 23rd prior to their European tour in September. We'll spotlight music from the Poseidon label from Japan and music from Nearfest 2006 band KBB, now defunct Japanese band Morsof and a track from their 2003 release Heap. We feature the latest re-release of Finnish Guitarist Jukka Tolonen and his 1977 release titled JTB featuring a bonus cut as well. We'll feature the new disc from Bert Lams of the California Guitar Trio and his Nascent CD spotlighting the music of Bach on steel string Guitar. We'll feature the forthcoming powerhouse release of 2005 in Norway's Wobbler and their Hinterland CD due in September. Our 4th Hour Space Out focuses on Hawkwind Violinist Simon House and his mid 90's reissues of Spiral Galaxy Revisited and Yassasim from the Voiceprint records label.
We'll spotlight classics from the vaults. First up, Spanish band Iceberg and the 1977 classic, Sentiments. A summertime favorite in Jeff Beck's Wired from 1976, the one and only release from 1969 supergroup Blind Faith featuring some alternate versions. We'll feature the 2003 self titled release from Italian band Fonderia. And as always our current #1 disc for the 10th straight week in requests, 15 weeks total, Porcupine Tree's Deadwing.
