Aural Moon Rising!

Say goodbye to the skipping! Say goodbye to all the connection problems that you have come to loathe when listening to your favorite prog! Over the weekend, we figured out a way to relaunch Aural Moon into one of the most powerful prog stations on the net! We are currently in the process of connecting Aural Moon directly to an internet backbone. Not only will this allow us to have a skip-free connection at several bandwidths, it allows us to have unlimited expansion of streaming progressive rock services! Oh yeah!

It will probably take most of this week to complete the transfer, and get things going, but as soon as this weekend, you can tune into the NEW Aural Moon! We're so excited, we've gone through several pairs of underwear.

One of the newest features we'll be debuting is (drum roll please) a 128k mp3 stream!! Lord have mercy! The 128k stream will be available as a subscription service through sponsorship of the station (a very, very reasonable fee; current sponsors: you will be grandfathered in - you will be contacted). Details will be announced soon.

Also, watch this space for details on a grand relaunching online listening party, including on-air contests with prize giveaways, live DJing, and much more.

About the same time, we'll be opening our online store. T-Shirts, mugs, mousepads, sweatshirts, hats, and other great swag with unique Aural Moon designs will be available for you to show your love of prog. Plus, you'll be helping the station keep proggin' on.

Please bear with us for these next few days. The station may actually go dark temporarily during the transition times in the next few days, but fear not, it will return very, very soon reborn bigger and better than ever!

If you know friends who maybe haven't heard the news since our connection problems, we'd like to ask you to spread the news!
