I've noticed more use of the shoutbox for negative feedback for the shows aired on the Moon (all shows, not just mine). Positive feedback usually manifests itself in the forums, but negative feedback is usually in the box.
I'm all for response, I find it helpful. However, I've noticed a lack of decorum of late. Hit and run posts, caps lock, a negative comment that is not answered when asked for clarification. That's not helpful.
For every user of the shoutbox, there's at least another 25 listening. I'd like to not alienate them.
As for my show, next week I'll post a thread inviting discussion of show content. I will not have a show that week, and I'd like to solicit opinions.. what works, what doesn't.
As for all the shows, let's use the forums for discussion, and keep the emnity out of the main page.
Thanks:thumbsup:
