This IS very interesting to me, especially because I love counterpoint (thus, my love for the music of Gentle Giant), but it will be a challenge for this layman to understand all that is in this writing. Makes me wish I took classes like this MUCH earlier in life! That's not to say that when I retire from the proverbial day job, I cannot take a class or two...
