I've been off helping to create a CD for the Yesfans site,
made up of member's donated works.

I contributed a unreleased tune, named the CD,
(ASCEND and CREATE...cool huh?), and designed the cover.

I learned much from this, including the idea of making covers
downloadable from the site. We're sending out the CDs in jewel cases,
everything else is done by the consumer.
If we get back to the idea of a comp disk (sorry, Katrina hit,
and "lack of server space" became a hard sell) this is
the best way to raise funds.

Some samples will be up soon on Myspace.
I hope you give it a listen. It's been like pulling teeth
getting this thing out, but the results are worth it.
All sales go to maintaining the site, no small feat w/
over 7000 members.

Here's the art, what do you think?
Download the jpg, trim and fold, insert in jewel,
it's good to go. For a stiffer, slicker cover, photo paper.

Kirk, I always enjoy seeing your Creative Sparks, Looking forward to the Tribute and your next Zenpool Offering. Great Artwork as well, Thx for the Sneakpeak!

Only because its so close to this subject, I offer up a view of A LP Cover I thought More in tune to the Yes Album DRAMA. The Picture is a Poor Photo of the piece but you get the feel of my vision of MACHINE MESSIAH. (ps. I saw the 1st Trevor Horn Yes Concert ever here in Hartford!).

Hey, that's cool Sharc! Maybe a touch o' Kirby influence on the
central figure?

The mods at Yesfans requested "something Dean-ish" so
I knicked him a bit.:p

My logo style can extend to the modern, gothic, celtic...
just about anything in less than a day.
I also do this on the audio side for web sites, ect. requiring music.

If someone requests say..something "Steely Dan-ish", or
anything from native american to jazz to southern rock, I can usually
deliver it in less than a day.

Thanks for the good words on Zenpool!

The song I contributed to the Yesfans CD is "Mamaya",
also posted to www.songplanet.com/zenpool.
I do everything on this one, flutes, chapman stick, gee-tars..
It's only a couple of hits out of #2 "world", so any listens appreciated.
It's not exactly prog, but uses the prog "tools o' the trade"...
sort of "Latin prog".
