Prog or not isn't the question ...what music teachers get up to in their spare time is the concerning issue :haha:

Interestingly enough, later the same day, someone posted this video to the "musicians.mail" list at the company I work for (about 8,000 employees, so a sizeable list) A lot of dialogue ensued, and I finally posted something along the lines of: this is self-parody. he knows how bad this is. doesn't he? PLEASE? I don't want to believe that human beings could be so self unaware.
So, what say you? Does he know this is the ultimate in cheeze? I THINK so, but the Baywatch fame could have inflated his ego to the point where he thinks he's rocking and cool. I hope not, for the sake of us, in case there is an omniscient/omnipotent being out there judging the species...

If there's a judge, we'd have been convicted long ago...
A co-worker said after seeing this video, "That's not nearly as bad as his other one!"
He makes a self-promoting yet intentionally campy cameo in the Sponge-bob movie...
Lotus - Hassellhoff and Saga, two icons in Germany!

Saga is so popular in Germany? It's interesting that sometimes band is so popular in given country and only God knows why. For example in Poland such a band is Budgie. Probably they have never had such a big popularity in their homeland like in Poland.

That's interesting, I never knew that about Budgie. I must be part Polish, I love those guys..
It was either early in their career or when their popularity first faded (mid 80's), but Saga always set up camp in Germany. I know their early concerts were well received, and I think they just made a base of operations there. I read something about why, but have forgotten over time.

Oh! My EYES! MY POOR EYES! Where's the sandpaper when you really need it! Oh the horror...the horror....
And I don't think this is a self parody. I think it was an actual attempt to cram something into the Top! 40!
Hopefully it'll mercifully find it's way to the bottom of the bargain CD bin. Quickly.

Hasselhoff looks completely comfortable with self-parody. More power to him.
