he will be sorely missed.

That's a real shame - he was a great saxophonist. He'd been ill for a good while, but it's still a great loss when it comes.

So sorry to hear this news. Sympathies to Michael's family and friends.
A very influential musician, I hope he enjoys the great gig in the sky.

The work that he did with his brother Randy was monumental in the 70's. I truly loved their work on Zappa in New York and Heavy Metal Be-Bop. He indeed will be sorely missed.

I wonder how many records he was on.....seems like he was everywhere.
