For sure in one or the other way we will have a voting for the best release in 2007.

For that purpose, is it possible to program SAM in a way, that he only plays releases of 2007 on RFW in the next weeks untill the (not yet started) poll finishes)? And what you think about it?

Well there are few things just released that I will pick up soon.....

I've found that I may not hear a great release until well after the year ends.

I'm not in any hurry....there are so many variables in what to program it wouldn't be worth the trouble would it? Can't play all the songs...which ones? Would the tune be a "representative" song?

My suggestion would be to request 2007 songs, and I'll try to play as much as I can. The listeners are very good about doing this and sticking to themes. but programming...a bit dicey I'd say.

Well, it is possible. However, not everything is properly tagged in the AM library.

Also, RFW might get to be a bit redundant if I were to limit SAM to selecting only 2007 releases.

I agree with Vax argument. There are not so much 2007 releases for SAM 24 hours pics, and this for a couple of weeks.

Ricks idea is good, playing in his shows more 2007 releases, also requesting more 2007 stuff. Maybe a theme for December???

Interesting idea Lotus but some tracks are not correctly labelled
