This isn't about your top 5 artists you like but rather what 5 artists you are currently listening to the most. My 5 now is Quidam-Surrevival; Jadis-Across the Water; Riverside-Out of Myself; Sieges Even-Paramount; Collage-Moonshine.
I'm curious to see what Moonies listen to!

How can you pick just 5 out of this huge bag of goodies. 8-o

I'm as fickle as a 13 year old girl in a dress shop. And so is my iPod. It's on random shuffle so it keeps me entertained by mixing it all up.

But the newest groups to join the rotation are Little Atlas, Gamalon, a lot of Al DiMeola & Stanley Clarke classics, and Thought Chamber is the latest. More being added every day.

And I always have time for the classics - Yes, Nektar, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Return to Forever.

Perhaps this thread should be moved to a different Forum as it could confuse matters when we come to vote for The Best of 2007 show.

Combination Head (I played them twice last night!)

Al DiMeola- Flesh on Flesh (SACD)

Helmet of Gnats (SACD)

Barry Miles (On direct-to-disc vinyl from the 70s. Never knew what happened to him till I Googled his name to find he played on a few of DiMeola's CDs, so I've been listening to him and didn't even know!)

John McLaughlin- Electric Dreams (On vinyl....always loved this one!!)

Combination Head (I played them twice last night!)

Paul sent me a myspace message today, what a coincidence - the new one should be available via CD Baby next week. A new year, a new head! (Combination that is). I replied that I was sure to pick it up and play it on the show. But with all my stuff going on, it may not be for a month or so.

Don't you just love that last song on the disc? The melody stays with you.

On a related note, I finally heard the Black Bonzo from this year (they have an earlier disc). It kicked my ass all the way up and down the Eastern seaboard.

On an admin note...this is still a duplicate thread, or at the very least, in the wrong section of the forum...

Hey Rick,

I got the same message cause I did ask them to let me know when it comes out, but to deepen the coincidence, my wife heard the music last night and liked it. Now the only prog she likes is Yes, and that's because she is vocally oriented, so this is a first!

I'll have to check out BB.

I thought this thread fit in this section as general...I missed the other thread...can you move it?

I try not have anything in particular in a rotation. I usually just hit shuffle and play. If I add something new, I will usually listen to it through and then shuffle again.
