Dear Parents
There is a fairly new psycho drug on on the market and teens are using it and its called Salvia and it can cause halluenactions and even death.

To start with, Wiki is not a reliable source.

Secondly, there's no proof that it caused that teenager's suicide
other than anecdotal evidence from his parents 4 months after the fact.
That puts it in a category w/ Ozzy lyrics.
The article states-

" During this time medical experts and accident and emergency rooms have not been reporting cases that suggest particular health concerns, and police have not been reporting it as a significant issue with regard to public order offences."

Plus-
" The most commonly reported after-effects include an increased feeling of insight and improved mood, and a sense of calmness and increased sense of connection with nature—though much less often it may also cause dysphoria (unpleasant or uncomfortable mood).[10] Salvia divinorum is not generally understood to be toxic or addictive. Where have i heard that before (the over 50's are probably snickering
about now) ? Kids will experiment, parents will freak out about it,
often w/ a "no kid of mine is going to do what I did !"

Next time you listen to early Yes, Pink Floyd, ect., understand that those

Remember all of the FUD in our day about MJ and LSD? Aversive tactics have been used to compel would be users for eons. Reefer Madnes, anyone? It was claimed that females smoking pot became intensely wanton. I smoked a lot of dope with females in High School and College. I laid a microcosm of that population and they weren't under the influence when I did! ;)
