Normally when singers are compared to Jon Anderson, I find they sound nothing like him. They may be fine singers and all, but aside from being tenors or countertenors, they're clearly not him.

But check out http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=2864623. He really DOES sound just like Jon Anderson!

Maybe Yes can survive without Anderson? I sure hope so.

Pretty Good. Even wears JA's clothes. Still needs to grow a scrawny beard though.

Thanks for the link.

He does sound really close to JA, but can he write free association lyrics of as high a quality as Jon???? :dunno:

Other than that, I think he is very good. 8-q

Pretty good indeed.

But...............there is and can only be ONE true Jon.

First, though the tone is the same, He doesn't have the same power Jon has. Second, I still say Yes should get a totally different style vocalist, perhaps a woman.

It's tough to get a woman to say YES! :D

Won't get a chance to check it out soon but thank you for the link.

And remember: There can be only ONE Trevor Horn.

Well, I believe Trevor is a very good singer and he could make Yes greater...
But in old Yes fans there were pros and cons about Trevor, and then Yes was broken out...

How do you think 'bout this?

I was just joking around about Keith's comment. I think Drama is a strong record, and I don't get all bent out of shape over Yes and live and die with their happenings. I love the music and all of that, but just really let them decide what they want to do and go from there.

Will be away for the rest of the week so I'll catch up when I return...

:notsure: I appreciate your comment, and I'm glad you have respect for Buggles' Yes (BugglYes?). I believe BugglYes is a great band, too. Certainly, they noticed that they were Not the JA's Yes and that they had their identity and character, I suggest.

Ouch...Is that my mistake? :aua:
If it's so, I'll try to listen to the two Yes's again and again... ;)
