On the Thursday prior to ROSfest 2009, I took the gang -- KeithieW, RogorMortis and Teermin8r -- to New York City. We had a few beers and lunch at Stout NYC and then we trekked up through Manhattan to Central Park were, believe it or not, we encountered Moon Safari. What are the chances of that? There, in Central Park, we were treated to an impromptu gig by Moon Safari. RogorMortis captured the moment on his pocket video cam.

Here it is:

Moon Safari in Central Park (http://auralmoon.com/multimedia/MoonSafari.mov) (QuickTime Download)
Moon Safari in Central Park (http://auralmoon.com/multimedia/MoonSafari.mp4) (MP4 Streaming and Download)

Great friends and great moments (http://auralmoon.com/multimedia/Moon-iesSafari.jpg) like this are the makings of a Master Card commercial -- priceless!

I would love to see it, but It will not open on my Mac or my quicktime enabled PC.

I caught it on youtube, via facebook, but, yeah, there's something messed up with this file, vax. it's only showing 191k? I tried downloading it and opening it with QT and VLC. VLC had nothing, and QT just showed a picture.

OK. The Apache server will NOT stream QuickTime without a special server plug-in. I'll look for that and install it. In the interim, I have converted the .MOV to allow download and I've created a .MP4 which the Apache server can stream. I've updated the initial post.

I loved when I met them at the Keswick and they sang Jurassic Park for me. >_< It still makes my day when I think about it. :)
