Several of you have expressed interest in have a 'master list' of the material played on Corner of the Universe. I would like to comply but just do not have time to do so.

I do, however, have everything in one Excel file and it is set up with worksheets that were meant for me to be able to update. Is there anyone out that with Excel experience that would like to compile that list for me from that workbook.

Let me know.

Gratefully,

Dale

I'm a excel rookie but I think if I apply myself I will be very quickly. Got nothing to do besides. I'll go for it!

No Opportunity Necessary, No Experience Needed.

Dale,

I could do it if you aren't in a big hurry. In case Fish gives up.

Thanks guys. I'll get in touch with you both. I believe I have enough to do for both of you.

I really appreciate it.

In fact, I'll take anyone else that would also like to help.

Thanks.

I do, however, have everything in one Excel file ...

Why not just provide the excel as an attachment here?

Why not just provide the excel as an attachment here?

Well, that would mean having all the right information in the right places....:notsure:

:eureka: Which is what I want them to do for me.

To display it once that is done I will most likely need to put it on a host so it could be linked to. Oh, there's another little job I don't have time for. :flutter:

Actually my intent is to have it available so people can see what's been played and choose new material accordingly. This is step 2 & 3 in the process, so to speak.

thanks folks.

I dont' think Horatio had torpedoes back then, But I get your drift.
But just because I had to look it up, that was David Farrugut during the Civil War that coined that phrase (I'm not correcting - it just got me curious.) :headscrat

Yes, he did. But I just got done watching 16 hours of HH so it was in the front of my brain. Great miniseries. :D

I had made this please back in June and we were not able to work out someone to fill in for this task. So, I'm reissuing the plea for help with my excel master sheet.

Anyone care to take a stab at it?

I want to cull all the individual show playlists that are a single worksheet in this workbook. From that I want to have a master "songs / artists played" list AND a list of the Albums played since the beginning.

I'm hoping someone knows a macro or formula that can help collate that info easily and then helps me sort it as I add to it next year.

Then again, maybe I should export to CSV and import to a real DB.

anyway, if anyone can help. Please pm me or email me @ cotm.auralmoon@yahoo.com.

*IF* the shows are maintained on the streaming server, I can probably get the info from SAM's MySQL database and present it here. This, of course, requires that you've maintained all of the shows archived in the Mooniverse folder of SAM.

Ack! *IF* only I had known.....
No, don't think it's archieved properly. Added on material not in library gets removed. But I may consider implementing that somehow for 2011.

Thanks, Vax.

Thanks again!
