The Event took place in a the soccer stadium of Dusseldorf, official capacity 51.000 ppl during a game. 35.000 ppl was the capacity for this sold out event.

We had great luck to get to the parking lots without a major problem, and even more important, we choose the right one and got off without any jam after the gig.

The stage (70 m long) was located at the length side of the stadium, the pit was chaired, and the gallery was 2/3 around it. Our seats were in pit, 2 rows after the “premium” tx with 236 €, just in the middle of the stage, aprox 30 m right line away..

The Event was “The Wall”, as we saw it 30 years ago (and we know it by heard since then), but more modern. Everything was giant, the stage, the sound (extraordinary), the performance (just excellent), the videos (never seen such a precision before), the FX (fireworks were good) etc etc etc.

Roger Waters and the complete band performed at it's highest level. the Spark of enthusiasm broke through as well (so difficult in a audio-visual performance). The whole show was worthwhile every € we paid for it..But...I missed the Chicken Skin Feeling I had 30 years ago when I saw “The Wall” live her in Dortmund, or I have sometimes attending to one ore the another small gig.

Well, to everyone who has the chance to see the last events: Go There!!

PS on June 19: I just read that Roger Waters will officially retire from his active career after this tour!

hola Lotus..there s a tour date here too,,as you say a huge production. Wonder how will be the sound,,,my doubt,,,the main stadium here has no cover or roof structure, and stage or dimension ..half capacity, 40000 more or less . I missed his last show here, Dark Side of..., so hope to see this one....always good to see good artist, specially making refreshing and good versions of their well known work....gracias por los comentarios , orientadores regards amigo
