Greetings Mooniverse.
One of the early Progressive Rock giants was also of Italian descent: Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso. Formed in 1969 by brother Vittorio and Gianni Nocenzi. They did not record their 1st album until 1972, as which time, after a few variations, the line included ex-FIORI DI CAMPO guitarist Marcello Todaro and three members of LE ESPERIENZE, vocalist Francesco Di Giacomo, drummer Pier Luigi Calderoni and bassist Renato D'Angelo.
They brought us the self-titled debut album. It was quickly followed up later that same year with Darwin. BANCO has gone on to bring us their special brand of music to this day as they continue to tour the world and record.
I hope you'll enjoy these two albums today.
