Moving to Luxembourg

I'm living in Luxembourg since last Wednesday. I'll start a new job here on the 1st of September.

Are there moonies around? What's happening prog-wise in these parts?

Hi Luis,

I live aprox 300 km north east from you. I think directly in Luxemburg there is not much, but you are lucky as relatively near to you (160 km) you have the Spirit 66 in Verviers (Belgium) There you will see the majority of l prog groups touring Central Europe.

Hey deSousa !

Can you tell us where exactly you're gonna stay in Luxembourg ?
I know the region because I travelled a few times in Luxembourg the last 2 years.
I know there's a big modern concert hall, not far from the border with France. Many gigs there and all kind of music.
If you're living not that far from the border with Belgium than you will like the programme of the Spirit of 66 in Verviers, Belgium.

I'm presently staying at Bettembourg, but I'll be working at Esch-Sur-Alzette. I'll move there as soon as I find a flat.

You're very lucky deSousa, the modern concert hall "Kulturfabrik" is in Esch-Sur-Alzette. There's also a new trainstation specially for people who visit the kulturfabrik. It's called 'Fabrik' because the site is an old fabrik. Now there rising great buildings and a shopping center and a lot more.

Thanks for the reply Erik.

The Kulturfabrik id indeed a reference in Luxembourg, not only at Esch. The folk I've talked to say there may be a Math Rock session once in a while, but beyond that the prog landscape here is really bare. Anyway, the Fabrik's agenda is eclectic enough to fill many different tastes.
