Hi buds, Ive been asked how to do this. If the pic is in your computer it doesnt have a URL address . So... buy putting it here, you can give it one.
Start by clicking POST REPLY.......
1) Click the paperclip above.
2) A pop-up box will appear for attachment, click Browse and up load a picture from your computer.
3) now click upload in that box.537
4) Close the pop-up
5)Click the down arrow next to the paperclip, then click on the Pics name, this will place your pic in your forum post
6)Sometimes it shows a link instead of the pic, if so ,click on it and copy the URL.
7)If the pic is showing, right click on it then click properties and the URL will appear...
8) copy the URL
9)Put image tags around it
and
10) put that in shout.... you should have that pic as a gif now.... good luck

That's 'cause your a spaz :-) ... sorry, couldn't resist. "Go Advanced" instead of a "Post Quick Reply" ... that's where the paper clip is.
Cheers,

Chrome (good gawd, YAWSNCB -- Yet Another Web Standards Non-Compliant Browser) is providing the attachment option dropdown select menu but it is not rendering the "paperclip" graphic. It's, instead, using the 'alt' text and presenting you with "Attachments" to identify the function. Those here who see the paperclip will see 'Attachments' appear as a tooltip when the pointer is hovering over the paperclip.
A bit of confusion can be avoided if people refer to the function of these editing options instead of the identifying graphics. If you see some graphic, hover the pointer over it and the tooltip will identify its function. That's the better way to make reference to it.
I suspect that someday Chrome will get to CSS2 compliance and then, it too will display the paperclip. The rest of the world will probably be CSS7 compliant by then. :)
FWIW, Safari, Firefox and even Opera display the paperclip; Lynx, obvioulsy, does not. ;)

I figured it had something to do with Chrome. I'm sticking with it though. Beats the pants off any other web browser I've used.

You need to see Safari or Firefox.
I just downloaded and fired up Chrome. It doesn't live up to its shiny name. I think it should be called Wrought Iron.
But I do see the Attachments issue.

I've never used Safari, but I stinking hate Firefox. I've never had anything but problems when I used it.

If you read on the first page, Spaz found that the Chrome browser did not work with this feature of the forum. Try another Internet browser.
