Hey, Moonatics. This is an open thread for you to start suggesting things you'd like to hear on the show. Remember, it can't already be on Aural Moon, and it has to be good.

Ok, what first comes to my mind and fits the criteria, it´s The Who's Quadrophenia.

Goozy, I've got both Schon and Hammer albums, and a good bit of Steely Dan. A S&H piece is already scheduled. The rest of that I don't have. But hey, read this: http://auralmoon.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5370 and follow through, and it's ON!

How about some of the more commercial releases from prog artists (I know I'm going to open up a flood gate of critics on this, so please don't shoot me.)

Asia, GTR, Mike and the Mechanics, Phil Collins, Greg Lake solos, late Genesis, etc.

Beatles are always good. The Police, Sting, Paul McCartney (Solo and Wings), Meatloaf, and for those who have never heard of her, Judie Tzuke.

Judie Tzuke.

Have been listening to and going to see Judie Tzuke since her first album "Welcome to the Cruise".

Her new album released earlier this year is really good too. Well worth a listen.

Keithie - I've been a JT fan for a long time. Never seen her live as she never comes to the states. Hard to get her music here too, but I have a number of them. Very cool stuff.

Hey, all. I've received music, or at least playlists, from 100ms, dangerboy, Diff Drummer, emperorken, nsgobbi, and Progdirjim. Some of these tunes will start showing up by the fourth show (first three are in the can).

If you're wonder, "Why sure, but when's the first show?" just hang on. It's coming soon....8-)

Probably the most prog related JUDIE TZUKE album is "The Cat Is Out" (1985) and THE TUBES "Remote Control" (1979), produced by Todd Rundgren.

Due to the recent passing last Sat. of Bay Area Gtr. legend Ronnie Montrose. I suggest you play Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein". On which Ronnie played on. Maybe even "Free Ride".

Hey, guys. I want to share with you something 100ms sent me in a PM (I got his permission).

For some reason the Digressive Rock Hour show has really got me excited. Not just because I got involved, but I think it is really interesting to hear selections from proggers outside of prog. I have to admit, when I was coming up with my list, I was a little unneasy exposing my taste for music that is non-prog. I'm over it now, Whew!
Yeah! Send me your list of ten non-prog pieces you want played. It's gonna be good.

I'd like to expand on my statement "taste for music that is non-prog."

I think it would have been better to put it this way, "taste for music that is not on Aural Moon," in keeping with "The idea is to play music that's not on Aural Moon but should appeal to prog fans" from the introduction. So it could be progressive, but doesn't have to be I think.

I'm assuming you mean less talk, more rawk, and not that you think I have an annoying voice!

If so, you've nothing to worry about.

Spirit - specifically The Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus...I don't have that one, Moonweed. Go here: http://auralmoon.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5370 and follow the instructions and I'll play it. It's better to pick a variety of artists than all the same artist in terms of how frequently I'll play it.

Thanks for your interest.

Not sure if Queen is on AM or not but if they aren't I think some of their music would be a good fit for this show.
