Sometime in the near future, satellite radio will bring many
more stations to the airwaves all across the US. Although
not many people will initially buy the radio needed to get
satellite broadcast, I was wondering if AM has put any thought
into this. Just think of the idea of listening to AM in your car!

That would be wonderful. All of those stations are commercial stations run by the satellite companies. I'm not sure if there will other stations, but if there are, they will surely pay a hefty price to be broadcast through a satellite.

But since we're a non-profit radio station, you'll probably never see us there. :-(

..I mean, 'RADIO', as is, 'Sucks the root of the world'.
Not too many years ago, the 'internet' was a subject for Arthur Clarke's fancies: now, 'Here we are'.
...Just 'bet'cha' I'll be listening to you on the radio, in a 'not too distant' future: I mean, c'mon: we LIVE in 2001! this IS the future. Don't cut yourself off short....
