Just wondering what we can compile of "free" downloads, such as albums on Bandcamp with "Name your price"
Like this: http://iamthemorningband.bandcamp.com/album/-
Good idea for a thread!!
This Majestic release should be very near the top for "best" free downloads:

That Majestic is a great album. Jeff Hamel is one of those guys who really has it down and Jessica on vocals is top notch.

Nth Ascension is a band that plays neo-prog on the heavier side a la Dee Expus or Dec Burke. The singer has a Bryan Ferry-ish sound. Their album "Frequencies of Day and Night" is available here:

Although the artist is giving the album away for free, they do accept donations.

For those that went to RoSfest last year, Dream the Electric Sleep has released their sophomore album "Heretics" and they are offeringthe download for "name your own price" on their bandcamp page. They also sell the cd (which is the way I went)

Cheeto's Magazine have put up their release Boiling Fowls for FREE (well they want an email address) at Bandcamp:

Some very unique and different sounds ... If you haven't heard it yet, it's great! Get it!
Thanks, Ramon!!

I have some music available for download on SoundCloud:

Be warned - some of the music is more avant-garde or electronic than prog, but hey, it takes all kinds, right?
