Greetings Prog Lovers!
Spring in Atlanta, it's beautiful but pollen rules us all. I know it's spring here because last Monday the pollen count was 100. Thursday it was 5000. (Achoo).
Now despite my 60 hour work week, I was able to sneak in an evening with Steve Hackett and Genesis Revisited. Wow. Great show, especially from my 5th row seats (it was at Symphony Hall at the Arts Center my wife and I have worked at since 1980 - it's who you know, right?)
This had Genesis on my mind, but I didn't want to keep playing the same things everyone plays so this show for 2010 seemed the way to go. So,
for this week, I'd like to reintroduce you to the early, early days of Genesis. I'll feature Disc 4 of the Genesis Archives 1967-1975. That will be followed by their first album release (in the original release version) From Genesis to Revelation.
I hope you'll be able to put up with that tired old group just one more time. :LOL:
