What do you think of this act? I really enjoyed David Jackson's saxophone in VdGG, and I'm starting to appreciate FK/Stolt more and more. His style has been a bit too slick for my 'default' prog taste. I might be wrong, but is seems to me that FK/Stolt has taken a jazzier, less AORean turn lately (on e.g. Unfold the Future), which I welcome.

Well here's the URL to this new act

(update: I just saw that there are already Tangent-material on the playlist; I'm still interested in people's opinions)

I loved "The music that died alone" when I heard it on AM and ordered it straight away. Unfortunately it's on import and is taking an age to arrive but there's always AM to keep me going. :D

All their stuff (if Neil Peart can say "stuff" so can I) that I heard I like. Unfortunately my CD budget is not as large as Keith's.

If only you knew, man!!!

I'm about to remortgage my home to pay for them all. I will have to start looking for a part time job if things keep going this way. It will have to allow me to play AM all day long though.

Keith - don't take my job, I need to find one!

Zvinki - Neil also says in that song "Excitement so thick you could cut it with a knife" - not one his more profound songs!

Byz - The jazzier feel of the later Flower Kings is mainly due to Jonas Reingold and Zoltan Csorz joining the band. Jonas is awesome. I think Roine always has had this side to him (he's been around a long time) - it's just a better outlet in Tangent. Maybe it's my lack of culture, but I find the other vocals in Tangent too "sour". But, it's an impressive piece of music.

My music budget is almost nil nowadays, but I'm still living off the fat (like a bear hibernating).
