It's not prog, but neither is Santana (playing right now!!!). It' good music: a bit of blues, a bit of jazz, a bit of funk... bit of rock'n'roll! I recomand (suggest) "Eric Burdon declares WAR", "Love is All Around" and "The Black-mans Burdon"... They have some grat covers like: "Nights On White Satin", "Paint it black", "A Day in the Life"...

thoughts on this?
I'm leaning towards no. I don't think the comparison to Santana is fair - I've selected just a few instrumental tracks from a brief period of Santana, that I think fit well here. Eric Burdon feels a bit too mainstream...
I think that EB & War should be on AM... Not all of it... maybe just " Eric Burdon declares War".... Maybe you will change your mind Progdir when you listen to the cover "Tabacco Road"... or "Paint it black" from the album "The Black-Man's Burdon"... I think these could fit AM...

whatever's decided is fine with me. It is a little mainstream, and the dividing line does get fuzzy.
Jim the judge. Hey that sould be a show, Judge Jim. You could get two people on either side of a prog court giving their case. Then if it douesn't make it on AM, you can smash it with the gavel.
