Skipping 5/31

I may have fixed it. The skipping, or disconnections may very well have been caused by a problem with our 24k server. It seemed to take down the entire station into a bad connection.

After resetting the 24k server, it seems to be OK!

my connection is still skipping and loud chirps sound all too often.

A few questions for ya then...

Which server are you listening to? (or are you just clicking one of the listening links on the home page).

What is your connection. Dial up? DSL line? Cable modem?

Is it pretty constant? Can you listen to other internet radio stations OK?



Just a general note: the live365 relay (the one ending in 16820) is kinda bad, and you could experience skips or something with that at any time.

I've been experiencing lots of stoppage. It seems the stream
terminates between 1:30 to 1:50 (in minutes and seconds). After
that, I have to stop the connection, and reconnect. Then it will
quit again after a minute and a half.

This essentially started 5/31, and stopped when you posted your
"fix". But a day after that, I've experienced stoppage.

I am using the 56K cable connection from your server (not Live365) at 161.58.167.147:6000.

We've been having problems with our cable modem connection. We're hoping they're solved soon. Cross your fingers.

Anyone want to colocate our server??? :-)
