Yeah I watched that (King's X was in there too). And the VH1 behind the music stuff was mostly sensationalism. Now they have total crap programming.

I used to watch and listen to that stuff all the time. I was a big American Top 40 listener, for instance.

I've learned to despise these things. It's like a train wreck - it seems you can't avert your gaze. But it makes you feel dirty.

I don't care what you call it, where you chart it, how you rate it, how you compare it, I won't believe it. It's music.

Let's just call it "Gregorian Chant Nose Pickers Tomato Growers" and be done with it. Damn, now I wish I would have thought of that for the contest (or given it to Adrian Belew for a song title).

The only good thing about categorization is a point of reference. That's it. The rest of it don't mean a damn thing.

That's because American Top 40 used to be good!:p
