hope I don't win the "duh" award for the day, but there is some seriously good shit in the Lazio 1 show - some of the best prog, all-time, any sub-genre.

the_original_ib 04-01-2005 01:40 PM

It's some beautiful music, for sure.

The playlist is here:

http://toib.net/cgi-bin/showpl.cgi?show=ps&list=italy02

Replay starts at 3!

Sean

looks great!!!

I tell ya, a chimpanzee could program a good show on Italian prog.

Won't stop me from taking the easy way out though. Parts 3-5 this week... next week... and the week after.

Regards,
Sean

good chimp :D

Hey Sean, have you thought about reversing the order on your playlist page? So that the most recent playlist is at top? I think that would be easier for us when we go to check it out.

I'd volunteer to change the html for you, but I suspect you can crank out that change quicker than you could ftp me the code...

the_original_ib 04-07-2005 12:12 AM

You make a good point! Reversing the playlist order is easy enough.

Sean

We'll skip this week's show as you guys have been subjected to enough PS this week (for all the wrong reasons).

Sean

Hours and hours worth!

Hey Sean, there was 57 hours of Prog Shores in my folder...I was going to save them for when I needed a show, but just deleted them ;)

Weird quirkiness....

On an unrelated note, I noticed that the CD "Players" was not on the playlist, yet added to the Moon long ago. It was set to the wrong play code, and I fixed it (same issue as Yes' "Drama" has a few weeks back). If anyone knows of a CD like that that you KNOW we have yet isn't available to play, let us know...thanks!

YO,

"Hey Sean, there was 57 hours of Prog Shores in my folder...I was going to save them for when I needed a show, but just deleted them "

I noticed that the stuff I had added got deleted. No idea how it got into your folder but maybe those are the ones that were playing before.

I re-added the 2005 shows to my PS folder and there have been no "odd" replays since, so I'm guessing the problem is now solved.

Regards,
Sean

No, all is well now! However my show has moved to Wednesday nights so there was no show tonight. The replay will be tomorrow though.

Sean

Don't know if it's night where you are, but great show Ib. Tomorrow is Saturday, still having a replay?

Re: Italian progressive rock!

Guys, the show airs at:

Wednesday 9-11 PM EDT

and replays at

Friday 3-5 PM EDT

So if you are in Europe the show is on Friday night 9-11 (appr.)

Regards,
Sean

Re: Italian progressive rock!

Guys,

Due to:
1) A bad cold that has me sounding more incoherent than usual,
2) Some ongoing issues with work/label that both will likely require attention tonight,

No show tonight. I will put on a repeat instead. Repeat Friday too.

Regards,
Sean

Do you have a brunette dipped in chocolate and melted playdough? that would be something for me.....:hrm:

Anyway, looks like a great show...but I'm having a hard time multiplying part 9 times the fourth installment.....
