Did you see the second clip above? The overdubbing is genius, makes Eddie VH look funny. Note the presence of the ubiquitous bald bass maestro Tony Levin. What is he clone himself?:rawk:

Interesting, at Progday 2006, Rikard (singer songwriter) was playing keyboard on the Gooberville tune. On this video he's all guitar...much different sound. Since it was their first song, hearing the very first thing they said being "He was a filthy motherf%^&er, by the name of Dwight" was kind of cool...

Young guys but they already have three gret CD's out...and nice people too.

Actually they're overdubs. Did you see the Eddie Van Halen? It's an apperance he did with Tony Levin and some others. It may be prog I don't know.

Someone put pedestrian notes over top of the real playing. It's actually done perfect with the playing.

It was done to make a blooper reel.

Vax, someone sent them to me at the same time Lotus posted the thread. I just posted it to have some fun. Did you really think they were real? Or more likely you must have just listened to the first few notes. Look at the Van Halen one again, it's hilarious.

Mick Rogers, Colin Pattenden, Chris Slade, and of course the Mann himself.

Born a few years too late - this was some of the best music ever made. Nightingales is on of my all-time faves.

My parents had the first record from 1965 with Do Wah Diddy Diddy. Hard to believe it was the same person.

Actually they did not age well into the late 70's. So they technically didn't survive.

I don't have that one...I do have Watch and Chance and they're half bad...but half good!

It's just a matter of all of the great 70's bands just running out of material. Sure the disco era helped to unfortunately change the sound of a lot of bands (look at Another Brick in the Wall)...but I blame it more to the lack of keeping the output consistent and the inability to smoke as much dope. :)

Reminds me I still have to get Roaring Silence...thanks!
