Do you use the sound feature in the shoutbox.
 

I would like to remove the sound feature in the shoutbox for several reasons and give a little more space to the scrolling window. Please let me know whether or not you use and or depend on this feature.

I have to admit that while I'm working on something else the sound alerts me to when someone posts a shout.........................however.

With the "Peel the shoutbox" feature this isn't so important as I can have the box "on top" and see for myself.

If you want to remove the sound then I will certainly not mind a bit.

I have never used the sound feature, gets in the way of the music, and why would I want to do that, so do away with it Vax!

although it does amuse me about three times a year when someone 'shouts' about an annoying sound... that they just can't figure out... 8-o

I never use this feature since when I begin with AM ! And I not consider an important feature. :-V

I for one enjoy this feature, to the point of it being obnoxious. But I vote to keep it.

I don't any more. Initially, I used it, but it got a bit distracting and sometimes a bit embarrasing during office meetings where it would go off and raise some eyebrows. Removing the feature would not be a problem for me. What I would suggest is a blinking/flashing "light" feature that could visually alert of new shouts incorporated into the shoutbox (with the ability to be peeled off with it too). Just a suggestion don't know if that would be possible.

yes i use the feature, esp when i'm on and off the page...but if it goes bye-bye it'll be okay.

I do not have a registered version, so I do not use the program, I know many people will get an illegal version, but thats just not for me.

If the sound feature must go away... what to do so ?
Yes i use it a lot. When im listening to the stream i like to have the main page loaded. I like to respond "Hello" when someone comes or participating in conversations that i like.
Without the sound feature so I will miss some of those moments.
