Looking for suggestions - COTM

Hi folks. I've got a number of shows planned which include the likes of Caravan, Edition Especiale, Zappa, Passport, Hatfield North & The McCoy, Rush, Windchase.

Would you like to suggest some groups? If so, please use this thread to do so. I welcome all suggestions. I do value your feedback.

Thanks for your considerations.

See you on the Mooniverse

Dale

(But I cannot guarantee I'll play them.)

Here are a handful,

Ozric Tentacles - a lot to choose from
Hawkwind - a lot to choose from here
Mahogany Frog - Canadian space rock type stuff
After Crying
Banco

Some of these may have already been covered, unfortunately I don't catch every show.

I think that you should feature some of the FARfest groups. The festival appears to be struggling getting off the ground, and any exposure to the groups may help. The 70s synphonic groups playing are:

Alphataurus
Atoll
Cathedral
Cressida
Latte E Miele
Locanda Delle Fate
Maxophone
Mezquita
Pulsar
SBB
Shylock

Definately, Lotus. I have done one show on each of them already but there is a deep discography that will be revisited.

Thank you.

I really like the idea of having a Rock Progressivo Italiano show. AM has many, many fine bands of this genre. Some of the bands I would include would be....
Balletto di Bronzo
Museo Rosenbach
Panna Fredda
Narrow Pass
Floating State
PFM
Nuova Era
Metamorfosi
Alphataurus
Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso

Le Orme
Osanna
Jumbo

Barclay James Harvest
Savage Rose
Skaldowie

Mutantes
Kayak
Gryphon

How about a show on not so known bands or tracks such as The Dark's The Jam and the band Dennis-Hyperthalamus I turned you on to a while back. You could throw in tracks that not every1 would have known of.A show not just about 1 band.

That might be the crime of the century if Supertramp was left out.
