Montrose was awesome. I (am/was) lucky enough to live very near Mr. Montrose's home and he would do little tours now and again in small venues around the bay area. Always a treat. He would play a show featuring the first 3 albums. He had a singer who could belt as good as Sammy. Thanks mario!

For anyone interested. Ronnie Montrose has an new album. It was recorded before his suicide. It was finished recently with a whole bunch of very notable guests. You can find it on Amazon.

Just finished listening to it. Rock, not prog. Very good.

He was very underrated ,,here from distance is what I felt.... like this one,,
for those who one day had a foot in early heavy rock stuff...they made songs,, melodic ideas,,,,something extremely hard to find these days...only riffs or power chops and super speed
