Well, I'm 95% sure my LCD monitor on my laptop went out. I can't use it until I get it to a service center. It has all the software I need for DRH, as well as software, files, etc. that I need for pretty much everything else in my life. The computer itself is about four years old, which is pretty ancient in computer years, so I'm toying with getting a new unit altogether. Regardless, I have to get this screen back working soon.

I have this work computer, which is, of course, for work. I can't load non-work software on this, so no DRH until I get my computer situation fixed. That could be up a week or two. Ah, Murphy.

Could an admin go into the DRH folder and delete the current show? I tried to to do last night before it repeated, and that's when I found the LCD issue.

Well, time for an update.

It was my motherboard and my video card. Took the hard drive out of the laptop and put it in a refurbished desktop, converting it's hard drive into a storage device. I added a high-end video card for two 1080 monitors. I have one, but will buy another sooner or later.

I've ordered a new wireless mouse, USB wireless adapter, and a USB keyboard from Amazon.com. It's scheduled to arrive Thursday, so I should be up and running this weekend.

What that means for you: Halloween DRH!

Update: Still on the fritz. I'm going to have to re-format my hard drive and reload all my software. So, no DRH again. Sorry. I really had a good idea for a Halloween show, too. Maybe next year.

This is turning out to be a much bigger deal than I'd hoped. I'm still around, and the DRH will be back; I promise.
