Recently played update.

A big thank you to VAX for the enhancements made to the Recently played portion of the site.

We can now see which tracks have played during the last 24 hours and the time that they aired.

This can be used to really help with your Requesting.

If you have an idea for a track Press "Ctrl+F" and type in the name of the band. You will be able to see if that band has played recently and when. Very useful indeed.

Needless to say this works for PC users I have no idea what you would do on a Mac although I'm sure that we will find out that it is easier :neener:

Another great VAX innovation there. Now....what else can we think of to get him going on? :D

I'm assuming that CTRL-F is a find function? How does it work in a scrollable window?

However, you have given me an idea *for* YAWSE (Yet Another Web Site Enhancement). What if I made the "Recently Played" graphic a link that would bring up a search window for perusing the recently played list?

Excellent idea mate.

In a scrollable window "Find next" would just keep going until the end of the page had been reached.

Re: Recently played update.

I need a little help while I'm working on these page updates.

I found several errors that Safari's DOM inspector and JavaScript console unveiled. Both in the shout box code (one was a missing closing comment).

I have one last problem. The Safari JavaScript Console is reporting that there is a Syntax Error/Parse Error on line 585. Since the page you see is produced by php, it's difficult to relate this to the actual code. You can view the generated source in nearly every browser but none of them seem to line number the source. With line wrapping, etc., it is difficult to figure out WHAT line is line 585.

Reward: one album of your choice played in its entirety!

584 = <td class="contentheading" width="100%">
585 = The Reasoning </td>
586 = </tr>

Guess that is it. If so, I wait for my album..:)

Sadly, no Lotus. The thing it is complaining about is some JavaScript. The error I am seeing can be seen in the JavaScript console in Safari.

The big problem is that much of the web site is created by php code. There's also nested <iframe>s. I'm certain that his is tossing off the line counter.

copy the code into Taco and it can put in the line numbers for you. or BBEdit, or Smultron, or something.
