Love Sgt Pepper, so-so on Hendrix and don't care for Zappa. And I think PF's Piper is pretty lame, except for Astronomy Domine.

For me, 1967 means:

Moody Blues- Days of Future Past
Procol Harum
Traffic- Dear Mr Fantasy
The Doors

While I can't deny it reminds me how old I am, looking for the positive,
I realize I've been listening to fantastic music for almost 50 years! (I wasn't
listening too much yet at 7 years old ;) )

Very thankful for the timeless sounds and creativity of those artists.

For me, 1967 was the year with the great music of Beatles, Stones, Doors, and the Who, who opened for the Buckinghams at our senior class party at Shawnee Mission South High School in Overland Park, Kansas. Yes, and no one had ever seen anyone destroy his guitar and amp on stage, but Pete did. They were playing new, yet to be released, tunes off Live at Leeds. It was amazing.
