worthy indies

hi guys- i know it's near impossible to wade through the
mountain of drek indie music on the net.

there's everything from the semi-pro to the 14 yr.old
posting "music" made on a playstation
generally making it difficult to find the gems.
(a.k.a. "the forest for the trees" ).

i'm around the forums on a daily basis, and once
in a while i find something (or someone)
that i think deserves attention.

this is a tune by Rick Richards, a.k.a. "progtronic"
someone i know from interconnected.com (.de)

http://mp3.openmusicsource.net/playe....m3u?id=160669

musicmatch, ect. should begin playing immediately.
if your default player doesn't work, go to
www.ic-musicmedia.com , type "progtronic"
into the search box.

if you're interested, say so, i'll post more
examples of indie artists that (i feel) deserve attention
(and save your ears in the process).

wow, the forums sure got hosed over the weekend. I responded to this thread on Friday, and the post has vanished.

Kirk, progtronic sounded pretty good - does he have more stuff?

Also, I finally got a chance to listen to your music, and I have to say I'd be happy to add what I heard to the Aural Moon play list - do you have a CD or MP3s you'd like to send? Just let me know...

hi jim-
did the p.m. i sent make it to you?

progdirjim 07-01-2004 04:32 PM

yep, I've responded now...

i should've asked at the time, which tunes had you heard,
were you interested in?
