heh .. if you're gonna read puns, you should read this one (cadged from one of Spider Robinson's Callahan's series):

This guy is the chief pyramid builder for the Pharoah, but he's rather a perfectionist, and whenever he isn't satisfied with the construction, he explodes them..

One day he wanders into the Pharoah's courtroom, bloody and covered in soot.. seating himself at the foot of the dias he looks up at the Pharoah and mutters..

"I gotta stop smokin' ziggurats before it kills me." :D
