Join the GAGLIARCHIVES, tonight, 10pm Eastern Time, for program 883, as we spotlight Guitar legend Allan Holdsworth by wide request. For those that witnessed the shows up in Boston, MA at the Regatta, BB King's up in New York City, and The Point in Bryn Mawr, PA were blown away by his new trio. Featuring Ernest Tibbs on Bass, and Joel Taylor on Drums, Allan's forthcoming studio album will feature these incredible musicians who put up some stellar performances this week, and will sure to please those who will see the trio this coming week. We will feature an extended hour set of Holdsworth related music in various incarnations.

We'll feature the new Terry Bozzio compilation titled Prime Cuts from the Magna Carta label featuring unreleased tracks and video as well. We'll also spotlight the fusion compilation from Tone Center records titled A Guitar Supreme, Giant Steps In Fusion Guitar featuring Eric Johnson, Frank Gambale, Larry Coryell, Steve Lukather, and many others. We'll track recent music from Paul Dunmall Moksha Big Band CD from Cuneiform Records titled I Wish You Peace. We'll also feature our former #1 disc from French project Magma and the KA CD..no extracts this time! We'll also feature our new #1 disc from New England band Helmet Of Gnats and their new self titled release. We'll feature 2 archive releases from the ReR label in guitarist Fred Frith and his Allies disc recorded in 1989 and Cheap At Half The Price from 1983. We'll track music from the recent ECM release from Keith Jarrett, Gary Peacock, and Jack DeJohnette titled The Out Of Towners. We'll also spotlight guitarist Jane Getter and her See Jane Run CD from 2004...Jane opened up for Allan Holdsworth in NYC and put up a great show. We'll kick things off with Emerson, Lake, and Palmer's Pictures At An Exhibition released this week in 1972. Stay Tuned!
