A moment of silence for Peter Bardens
 

I know that this may seem quite belated, but I only found out about this earlier today and felt it necessary to post it here: Peter Bardens, composer and lead keyboardist for Camel, died of cancer on January 22, 2002.

After a long MP3 romance with Camel, I actually went out and bought their album The Snow Goose with some of my Christmas money. A beautiful work with some wonerful melodies and inspired playing.

I feel that Mr. Bardens will be sorely missed.

Being a huge Camel fan myself, and also enjoying some of Pete Bardens solo stuff (Seen One Earth & Speed of Light, especially), it was really a huge shock to hear such bad news back then... R.I.P. Pete Bardens...

Glad you also enjoy Camel, this is one of my all-time favorite bands. If you want two follow ups to Snow Goose, I would highly recommend to go with Moonmadness and Mirage now (both are from the period in which Pete Bardens still joined the band).
