Show 110 - Yes It Is

I guess Yes finally has enough music to play a show :knowing:

Chronologically throughout time (except for the closing song), with an emphasis on some of the lesser played songs (if there is such a thing from Yes on a progressive station) and a few of my personal favorites.

Beyond and Before (Yes)
Harold Land (Yes)
Then (Time and A Word)
Astral Traveller (Time and A Word)
Perpetual Change (The Yes Album)
South Side of the Sky (Fragile)
Siberian Khatru (Close To The Edge)
To Be Over (Relayer)
Turn of the Century (Going For The One)
Parallels (Going For The One)
Onward (Tormato)
On The Silent Wings Of Freedom (Tormato)
Machine Messiah (Drama)
Cinema (90125)
Leave It (90125)
Hearts (90125)
I'm Running (Big Generator)
The More We Live - Let Go (Union)
Real Love (Talk)
America (Keys To Ascenscion)
Footprints (Keys To Ascenscion 2)
Give Love Each Day (Magnification)
The Remembering High The Memory (Tales From Topographic Oceans)

"And the moment you tell me.......Yes!"

Could this be true? Does it ever happen to you?...and can you prove that wheels go 'round in reason? you take a step...in time to move together....

time is the measure before it's begun, slips away like running water– live for the pleasure, live by the gun– heritage for sun and daughter–down to the slaughter up for the fun... up, up, Up for anything!

now that's Drama...Yes?

Nothing from Open Your Eyes or The Ladder? That's a bit of a shame but I guess time restraints have to come into play.

Interestingly enough there are quite a few tracks on your playlist that I'd have chosen too. There are also a few differences. ;)

will be a great show Rick and I foresee a lot of Shoutbox/Chatroom activity. Maybe even surpassing the TfF nattering.

Go for it!!!!

I figured we'd have some differences, the catalogue is so vast. I wanted to include the Ladder...but don't get me started on the other one:zzzzz:

This week I should participate a bit more...looking forward to it - the following week I'll be out (but a show will play) and then its the Holidays.

I guess I would've included some of the more "famous" Yes tunes to make the chronology more balanced, but I see what you're going for, the more "unplayed" ones, glad to see a lot of the early stuff in the list, though I would have put in Survival and Beyond And Before, but that's just me, looking forward to it. :)

Well B and B is on the list, and as for Survival, it's one of my favorite Yes songs. Here's some other favorites that didn't make the list: I See You, Yours Is No Disgrace, Heart of the Sunrise, Gates, Awaken (maybe my fav..sorry Jim), Don't Kill The Whale, Madrigal, Does It Really Happen?, Tempus Fugit, Mind Drive.:-V

I see you instead of astral traveller, and just one "unknown" yes song is too few. no inevitable The ladder songs. BG songs. KTA songs are played but no that, that is...

apart of that, that is pertinent songs played after all which almost could save you from a bad note.

Good suggestions, "That, that Is" is an interesting song...

What? No metal, hard-rock, experimental rock or prog-pop, just regular prog?

Did you sell out Rick? :knowing:

Now that's a juxtaposition! Beautiful!

Actually, I have so much piled up to play I'm set until spring. However it shakes out of the tree category-wise is what it is. That, that is....

I had a great chat w/ Scotty Squire (Chris's recently betrothed,
you heard it here first) last night.
Chris was in the next room, composing on the piano
(eat your heart out guys, it's good to be an artist!).

Not to start any rumors, but it may come to pass that
after a jam w/ several members of Spock's at a show, including Ryo..
No! I say too much already!

Chris is hard at work on what may be a followup to "Fish..",
or you never know, material that may be on the next Yes album...!

I get the definite impression the guys are stalling for time
to hit the next one out of the park.

Looking forward to the show Rick!

Kirk
