2007 FMPM Remarks & Reviews
 

Back from a stunning weekend of music at the 2007 Festival des Musiques Progressives de Montreal. C'est Fantastique! :neener:

I'm positively stunned by the performance of IQ Sunday night. But everyone was good.

Actually remembered my camera and got some decent photos. So I'll work on getting those together and write a review of all the groups. I've already posted photos of Sean, Mr. Oblivious and I over in the Moonies meeting Moonies thread.

I'm sure Mr. O will also write something too. And perhaps eventually any new friends that we met there that learned of the Moon, they will join us herea and share their thoughts. :cool:

I was there too.
What a wonderful week-end of festivities!Great music,relaxed atmosphere,professional and friendly staff and organisation,affordable prices for CDs and merchadises,ect....
I was most impress by Ville-Émard Blues Band,Strawbs,Samala and IQ,but all bands gave us a very good performance.
Too bad Jelly Fiche don't have a CD out yet,I would have grabbed it on the spot.Oh well,I 'll wait till it's out,aperently sometimes soon.

Did you see our posts about coming up to Montreal? We would have liked to have met you.

Unfortunately,no I didn't see your posts.The fact is I do live in Montreal and yes maybe we did meet.I spoke to a few Americans,some from Philly.

Oh well,maybe next year!

And What a City. Loved Montreal. I want to go back. Next time, I'll know I have a tour guide. :thumbsup:
