Mike Oldfield - Incantations
 

I have a feeling that the tracks:

Incantations Pt 1 + 2
Incantations Pt 3 + 4

That are listed in the Library as being on the Album "Incantations" are actually from the live album "Exposed".

Anyone want to investigate.....:)

In checking Amazon and ProgArchives - the tracks as listed are the timings of the "Exposed" recordings.

On "Incantations" the track timings (listed separately) for the first two parts are each 19+ minutes - definately not a 26 minutes combined.

Makes one go hmmmmmmm.

The original LP is a four sided deal. When they put it on cd, they edited them down to get them to fit. As far as I know, Incantations has never been released as a double cd, keeping everything original. This might be part of it.

I'm pretty sure that the version of parts 3 & 4 on the moon (list as being on "incantations") even has applause at the end of the track. another pretty strong clue that perhaps it is really "exposed".

these are DEFINITELY from Exposed as I have Exposed but not Incantations. They were originally entered correctly, and someone must have been trying to help and changed them. Fixed now.

Errrrrrrrrrr.......sorry that last statement was 40 years out of date.
