up and running, so here it is for all who is interested in this.
Looks like its gonna be another great festival!

Good news. Not sure if I will make it or not but I'm glad to see there's an official site to promote it. Long live vintage prog(or any good prog for that matter).

What hotel did you guys get rooms at? I see three listed on the website. The double tree(I think that's the name)is the host hotel but I'm not sure if it's the closest.

Double Tree Mike. It's also the Host hotel. Yes it's the closest too.

Just booked a room at the Double Tree. Whether I actually go or not is a different story but I figured I could always cancel later if I have to.

Regular tickets are on sale today. I just purchased my ticket and booked my room. Woo Hoo!

I've heard that the festival has had disappointing sales to date. It appears that another US prog festival is on the road to cancellation. Check out the line-up from the link above. This is a dream line-up for progressive rock lovers, especially fans of 1970s symphonic progressive rock. Greg Walker has indicated that he will continue this festival for another 4-5 years (presumeably to fill the void left by the end of NEARfest). Of course, this is based on the prior success of each one (Nobody likes losing money).

In any event, if anyone is on the fence, please buy your ticket now to ensure that this fetival does not go the way of Ohio Prog and NEARfest 2011.

I saw Greg at the UK show in SF last week. He said numbers are not as good as he would like to see, but he remains optimistic. I hope it works out. I won't even bother to continue with the " oh no it doesn't look good comments" . I'll leave those to the folks over on PE. Hope to see some of you at FarFest!

Unfortunately I didn't get my information from the PE folks. The festival has a very good chance of being cancelled unless there are more ticket sales.

I received my ticket in the mail today. Now I just have to wait and pray that it doesn't get filed with the NF2011 tickets :D
