They're based in Lawrence, KS; that may have something to do with it, but I don't know what. They've played out west many times.
I saw them at Martin's, in Jackson, back in 2001 I think. It was after Low Level Owl, and they played a few "new" songs, which included " Innocent Vigilant Ordinary" and " Ice Heavy Branches" and " Hello Dearest Love" from what would become Two Conversations. They were good, but one thing I'll say: they were LOUD. :rawk: =8^O |
