A few more suggestions!

Hi,

Loving the shows! - Takes me back to a time when radio was worth listening to!
Fantastic work.

A few suggestions for the future maybe:

1. "The Alchemist" by a band called "Home" - pure early 70's
prog and one not to be missed.

2. "Automatic Man" by "Automatic Man" - a predominantly black
line-up from around '76, and a blistering mix of funky prog - great
guitars and powerful keys.

3. "Psi-Fi" by "Seventh Wave - another mid '70's masterpiece featuring the epic track "Camera Obscura".

Cheers, Ozzie.

Didn't Michael Shrieve play with Automatic Man?

Here's an odd suggestion: "Fade Away and Radiate" by Blondie. Yes, I know Blondie is hardly a prog band, but this one track seems to qualify, and not just because of the lovely filigreed guitar provided by Messr. Fripp.

No, I won't suggest "Rapture" or "The Tide is High."

LOL, I've gotten "FAaR" in twice. That's probably enough.

Illegally Blonde

You could be here until the year 2010 naming selected songs by bands that could be prog. Reality check, please!

I found Automatic Man and it is in the process of being added...

Why not?!!:D

Starrider by Foreinger

What makes Starrider prog?

Although I'm very familiar with the tune, I just listened to it again.

It's a 4-5 minute tune....it is a simple AABA structure. Just like Onward by Yes, for instance. They're both great songs, but hardly prog.

I was 14 when it came out, and the first Foreigner CD is still a favorite.

Looking at this old thread Spaz, it seems the point I was making is that there are tons of selected songs that could be considered prog by some.

You think yes I think no, and I'll wager the remaining monnies care little.
