Chaos Code

This band recorded 2 CD's - the first is called "A Tapestry of Afterthoughts" and the second CD is called "The Tragedy of Leaps and Bounds". The second, recorded 2002, is really freakin' good. It was recorded at Orion in Baltimore. I don't want to state what I think they sound like, because that would create an expectation that may not be accurate.

All I know is that almost all of the audience would like it.

On the website, my favorite tune "Another Hand" is not one of the samples. Oh well.

Thanks Rick,

You're doing my bank balance no good at all here. I've just ordered the 2 albums from Kinesis.

Listening to the samples on the site I heard Tull, Crimson, Starcastle and especially Haze/World turtle..

You might want to check Haze out (there's some on AM playlist) and it's interesting (to me at least) that the next band down on the Kinesis library was "Treebeard" who are an unplugged version of Haze/World Turtle.

Always willing to listen to new stuff. It's one of the real joys in life!!!

well, I'd heard OF them before, and someone else had suggested them awhile back - so they were on my (long) list of bands to check out. After hearing your description and Keith's reference points, sounded like it was worth a shot.

as Program Director, I really like having some more obscure stuff on the station. Check out Larry Mitchell - he's a friend of mine, although he was good enough to be sponsored by Ibanez long before I ever met him. You won't find his music just anywhere, but it's some amazing guitar work. Political Rain would be what I recommend listening to first, maybe The Bath or Grace next...
